Events, privacy & recorded interactions
Events are submitted by registered businesses and reviewed by Event4U before listing. Approval does not verify business ownership or guarantee an event, ticket availability or entry. Confirm details with the organizer. Ticket purchases happen on the linked provider’s website under its terms and fees.
Saved events, follows, alert settings and organizer questions are linked to your member account. Saves and follows are private. Your question and display name are visible to the organizing business; replies appear in For You. Do not include payment or sensitive personal information. In-site event alerts are optional and appear when you revisit For You; no browser push notifications are sent. Review and invitation email settings are separate from in-site event alerts.
With browser analytics permitted, a temporary session identifier records daily event views, business profile views and ticket-link clicks. It is hashed with the date before storage, does not use IP addresses, and is not shared with businesses. Counts are deduplicated per browser session, target, action and UTC day, not unique people or verified sales. Known bot requests, business owners and the Event4U owner are excluded where identified.
